Well, my first Weekly Challenge did stretch me Beyond my newly found delight in discovering photography. So I selected a place close to home and knew exactly what I hope to capture.  Here goes…

The neighborhood park was quiet in the morning, perfect for my stumbling around.  This old tree is stately even though his days have pushed him to reach westward.  His large branches create a perfect viewfinder to spy out the ducks, children, dog walkers and everyday folks, like me. In the center is the pond and fountain which sprays out water to keep things fresh.

I often wonder how old this tree is and what stories he could share. When I found out I’ll let you know…:)
